Shebarakesh: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India; Sheeba Rakesh has published internationally on Translation Studies and Women's issues...both being her major areas of interest. As a translator she has translated Amrit Lal Nagar's novel Nachyo Bahut Gopal into English... Tabish Khair's The Bus Stopped, and Anuj Dhar's India's Biggest Cover Up into the Hindi. She has recently finished translating Qaisra Shahraz's novel Typhoon into the Hindi and is currently working on Kaildas' Kumarsambhav. An All India Radio newscaster and Doordarshan show host she is also into hosting cultural events She works with the All India Radio. She loves teaching and believes that the best way to live is with positivity...because that's how you spread sunshine around you!
